Deposits
Puppy deposits are one-half of the purchase price and are NON-REFUNDABLE. Puppies are released when they are 49 days old. About a week before pick-up day, you will be notified of a time to pick out your puppy. We try to arrange to have everyone select their puppy in the order the deposits were received but we cannot guarantee it. If you are unable to come at the appropriate time on selection day, we will select the puppy for you according to your specifications. The outstanding balance is due at time of pick-up. Puppies not picked up within two days of the pick-up date will incur a boarding charge of $18 a day. We feel the time between six and eight weeks is a critical time for the puppy to bond with its family and we encourage you to pick up your puppy on time.
Breeding Program Guarantees
Hip dysplasia: Stonewall Retrievers guarantees the dog to have hip conformation satisfactory for it to function as normal dog up to the age of two years. If the dog has a diagnosis of hip dysplasia before it is 25 months old, Stonewall Retirevers will refund the purchase price of the dog. For the guarantee to be honored, the dog must be returned to Stonewall Retrievers with a copy of the diagnosis from a licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and its AKC registration papers, or upon the receipt of a certificate of euthanasia or hip repair surgery by a licensed veterinarian. Stonewall Retirevers' liability is strictly limited to the purchase price of the dog, and does not cover veterinary or other costs associated with the dog or its return to Stonewall Retrievers.
P.R.A.: Stonewall Retrievers guarantees the dog's eyes to be free of progressive retinal atrophy for up to the age of two years. If the dog has a diagnosis of P.R.A. before it is 25 months old, Stonewall Retrievers will refund the purchase price of the dog. For the guarantee to be honored, the dog must be returned to Stonewall Retrievers with a copy of the diagnosis from a licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and its AKC registration papers, or upon the receipt of a certificate of euthanasia by a licensed veterinarian. Stonewall Retrievers' liability is strictly limited to the purchase price of the dog, and does not cover veterinary or other costs associated with the dog or its return to Stonewall Retrievers. These warranties apply only to the original purchaser.
Stonewll Retrievers makes no warranties about the suitability of the dog as a companion or hunting dog, or about its ability to reproduce.
